  1. If you had a free day with no responsibilities and your only mission was to enjoy yourself, what would you do? That's part of what I enjoy so much about working for Jennifer at Men For Hire. I don't always have to work. If I need a day off, then I can usually take it with no problem. Hmm.. My ultimate day off? I'd probably take in a football game and then put in some hours working on my furniture building. I don't get to do that nearly enough.
  2. What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? How about after they’ve known you for a while? I'm a little quiet, so I think most people assume I'm either shy or not bright enough to handle much beyond manual labor. When they get to know me, I'd like to think they'll realize there's more to me. I like books, science, art, and film. I can hold up my end of a conversation. I'm a decent person, I'd say. And there's not nearly enough of that in the world.
  3. What’s your idea of a good marriage? Do you think that’ll happen in your life? Been there, done that. Failed miserably. I'm going to take a pass on this question.
  4. What are you most proud of about your life? Life hasn't always been kind. I think making it to the other side of those trials is what I'm most proud of.
- What sort of trials? Earlier, you mentioned marriage. That's probably the worst of it. I got married young. My ex decided after nearly ten years of marriage that she much preferred the me that didn't give a damn about money or bills or responsibility. It broke my heart.
- Are you still in love with her, then? Talk about getting right to it. Christ. But to answer your question, no. I think I just held on out of sheer stubbornness. We hadn't been right in a long time. I just wish she hadn't been so bloody brutal about ending things.
  1. What are you most ashamed of in your life? You're really into me talking about my feelings, aren't you? This goes back to the divorce, not to beat a dead horse too much. My parents were together for decades. Still are. I hate that I failed at that.
  2. If you could spend the day with someone you admire (living or dead or imaginary), who would you pick? My grandfather. He died a few years back. I miss him terribly.
  3. Do you think you’ve turned out the way your parents expected? Not sure. They never really pushed me to be any one thing. They were of the 'follow your heart' school. I'd like to think that they're pleased. I get the 'We're proud of you' bit a lot, but I think parents are required to say that stuff.
  4. What do you believe about God? What do you suppose God thinks of you? I'm not entirely convinced there's anything up there. I'm one of those that wants empirical evidence and I'm not likely to get it at this stage.
  5. Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done? What would happen if you did it? That's a tough question. I'm my own man, so I basically do whatever I want to. I've got nothing.
  6. What’s the worst thing that’s happened in your life? What did you learn from it? When I was sixteen, I was in a car wreck and broke both of my legs. My mate had been drinking at the time but like a dumb ass, I got in the car. Had a couple surgeries, and months of recovery. Drunk driving is stupid. We could have died. Never drive drunk. Never ride with anyone who's been drinking. That's what I learned.
  7. Tell me about your best friend. Probably my brother, Thomas. He's a year older than I am. Most weekends you can find me hanging out with him. We're either building something or watching some sort of sports. He's a good guy.
  8. What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done to someone? Why? I really don't recall doing anything that terrible to anyone. I'm kind of a pacifist, not to sound like a total pussy.
  9. What would you like it to say on your tombstone? He lived before he died.
  10. Describe your ideal mate. She'd be beautiful, of course. Not just on the outside. The inside too. Smart, funny, motivated. Maybe someone who's the creative sort. Someone who could offset my seriousness.
  11. What are you most afraid of? Not finding anyone to settle down with. I want what my brother and his wife have. What my parents have. I'd love to find it. I'm being much more particular about it this go-round, though.
  12. What’s the most important thing in your life? What do you value most? My family. They're important to me.
  13. What do you like best about yourself? Least? My ability to adapt. The other side of that, though, is that I never have to truly make a decision. I can just sort of let things happen as they may and then deal with the fall out.
  14. How do you feel about your life right now? What, if anything, would you like to change? It's a good life, for the most part. A little bit lonely. I'd like to meet someone, but lately I've been working so much that it's been hard to even date. Maybe I should devote myself to that more.
  15. Are you lying to yourself about something? What is it? A number of things, probably. The bad thing about denial is that you never realize you're in it until you're out of it.
  16. What trait do you most deplore in others? Liars. I can't stand them. I prefer the honest truth, even if it's ugly.

[Ménage and More: Erotic Rubenesque Interracial Consensual BDSM Ménage a Trois Romance, M/M/F, with M/M, HEA]

Lucy Willis feels like her life has been on hold forever. Now at 49 she decides it’s her time. When she meets two very attractive fifty-plus men she is surprised to find out they are bisexual and want her to join them.

She is tempted, but Lucy is too embarrassed to tell them her secret wish— that she needs to be controlled in bed.

Then she discovers that Sebastian is a Dom!

Tentatively she accepts their friendship which soon develops into a love match for the three of them. Will Lucy finally find the happiness she had been searching for all her life or will fate step in to ruin it all?

EXCERPT:

Lucy casually glanced over at the hottie on the other side of the room.
Be still my beating heart. He was talking to another hottie!
This one looked a fraction taller, he had very dark, maybe black hair. His hair was like a wild halo around his head and his skin coloured a gorgeous rich deep burnt sienna. He had a much leaner frame but from here it looked all muscle. She couldn’t decide which one to drool over, they both looked absolutely delicious. She’d just have to lust over them both. She could see number two hottie wore a dark colour shirt and dark pants.
Hottie number one turned his head and their eyes met again. He gave her a definite smile then said something to his companion. He looked over at Lucy too and she found herself blushing. She fumbled with her drink and turned her head to look to the door.
Oh hell!
Rob was waving. She gave him a half-hearted smile and took another mouthful from her glass, only to discover it was empty. Somehow he managed to swim through the crowd and stand in front of Lucy.
“Can I buy you a drink, Lucy?”
She shook her head.
“No thanks, Rob.”
He looked disappointed.
“Dance?”
“Sorry, I told you I’m not much of a dancer.”
He looked her up and down.
“You look fantastic.”
“Thank you, Rob.”
“Hey, Lucy! Mark wants to see you, he’s near the bar.”
“Oh thanks, Margaret. Excuse me, Rob.”
She smiled at him in relief and silently thanked Mark as she made her way to the bar again. Nonchalantly glancing over to the other side of the room as she walked, Lucy noticed only one hottie there. She met Mark at the bar about to order drinks.
“Hey, Lou, just wondered of you wanted a drink. Margaret said she thought you’d finished yours and I wanted to buy you one before you left to say thank you for all the work you did for us.”
“Oh gee thanks, Mark.” Lucy quickly studied the mocktails list. “Can I have a Red Giant, please?”
It was a large glass filled with cranberry and strawberry juice then topped with lemon-lime soda. He ordered a large round of drinks and Lucy took hers from him as he put the others on a tray.
“Thanks Mark. I appreciate it and I enjoyed working with you all.”
She followed him back to the group but once again Rob intercepted her, this time at the side of the doorway again.
“I thought you didn’t want a drink.”
“I’m really sorry, Rob, it’s just Mark wanted to buy me one and I felt I should say yes because he is the office manager.”
She looked around, trying to see someone she knew nearby to save her from Rob but no one was looking.
“I asked you first,” he complained.
“I know you did and I said I’m sorry.”
In a gravelly voice he said, “Well, will you go out with me now?”
“No, sorry.” Lucy shook her head and tried to walk past him. He put his hand against the wall, preventing her from entering the lounge area without making a scene.
“I’m trying to be nice.”
“I know you are, Rob, and I appreciate it. I’m trying to be nice too but please, you have to understand I’m just not interested.”
“Why?”
“I don’t want to and as I told you before I’m involved with someone.”
Once more she tried to push past. He grabbed her wrist tightly and she was frightened by his reaction. He seemed angry.
“Please let go of my arm, Rob!” she hissed softly.
“Not good enough for you, am I?”
She looked wildly around. This was getting so out of hand.
She whispered through clenched teeth. “Please let me go, Rob.”
His hand actually tightened on her wrist. Lucy managed to keep hold of her glass but most of her drink spilt onto the floor. Suddenly a sexy male voice spoke behind her then kissed her cheek. She felt two hands on her shoulders, pulling her close.
“Babe! Sorry I’m late.”
She tensed, wondering what on earth was happening and who had his arms on her. She wondered if she should scream and felt her heart pound rapidly.

ADULT EXCERPT:

Sebastian reached him and roughly grabbed him around the neck, pulling him tight onto his lips. Jack’s arms wrapped around his lover as he fought to keep his balance. Sebastian’s tongue forced its way into his mouth, his hand grabbed a fist full of his hair as he held Jack tight against him. The kiss was forceful, heady and Jack found himself holding Sebastian even tighter so he wouldn’t fall. When they finally separated Sebastian looked into Jack’s eyes.
He growled. “You can suck my cock.”
“Ooh yeah. I’ve been wanting to do that for hours.”
“Strip!” Sebastian ordered as he pulled off his own shirt then removed the remainder of his clothes.
Jack wasted no time in shedding his, throwing them onto the couch. He looked at Sebastian. His cock was more than half erect and Jack licked his lips in anticipation. He took a step toward his mate. Sebastian breathed heavily through his nose. Jack looked him up and down. His rich dark skin almost glowed in the light, where it hit him there were bright highlights amongst the dark shadows. Those deep brown-black eyes seemed to bore into Jack. They were filled with such love and, at this moment, intense lust. Sebastian stepped backward a few paces until he could rest against the back of one of the couches. He put his hands on either side on the couch back, holding himself steady.
He exhaled noisily as Jack ran a hand down his chest. Jack leant forward and kissed his lover’s neck then laid a line of kisses down the centre of his chest. He licked across each nipple and was rewarded when they hardened. Dancing his way down Sebastian’s body with his mouth, he kissed and licked a path toward his objective till he finally gripped Sebastian’s cock with one hand.
“On your knees, sub!” grunted Sebastian. His guttural voice was filled with desire and excitement.
Jack dropped to the floor, his face at cock height. That glorious long dark cock nestled amongst the wiry black hair beckoned him delightfully. Jack ran his hand up and down experimentally a few times and was pleased when it got harder. A glistening drop of pre-cum was his reward so he leant forward to lick across the top. He heard Sebastian sigh as he opened his mouth and slid it over that wonderful dick. His own cock was hard as a rock as he began to slide Sebastian’s back and forth, in and out of his mouth.
Jack felt Sebastian grip his fingers in his hair, holding his head against his cock. Jack continued his assault on that delicious dick. He would wrap his tongue around it and suck hard as he pulled his mouth partly off it then he would push forward, Sebastian’s cock filling his mouth, pushing against the back of his throat. When it was almost out he would stick the tip of his tongue into the sensitive eye then roll it around between his teeth.
“Yes! Fuck yes!”
Jack grinned around the cock. He thought his own was becoming even harder as he sucked and licked with glee.
“Pull yourself,” Sebastian managed to gasp.
Jack needed no second invitation. He grasped his own cock with his spare hand and began rubbing his hand up and down in time with the strokes his mouth delivered to Sebastian’s cock. With his other hand he held Sebastian’s cock but had crooked his little finger against his balls, gently rubbing and squeezing them. He could feel one of Sebastian’s legs—the one leaning on his arm, begin to tense. Jack increased the speed of his sucking. He also sped up the hand jerking off his own cock. If he timed it right they would come together.
His own climax felt so close but Sebastian’s was even closer. Jack felt Sebastian’s fingers press hard into his head as he roared. Sebastian pulled him hard and deep onto his cock. The salty thick cum shot into his mouth and down his throat. He sucked hard on it, gobbling down every last drop of that delicious drink.
Sebastian pressed himself hard against the back of the couch as Jack let the flaccid cock slip from his mouth. Sebastian slid a hand down his arm and pulled at Jack, making him stand. Jack still pulled at his cock, jacking it off.
“Shower me, my love, let me see that cum all over me.”
Jack grinned at him and jerked his cock faster and harder until he felt it spurt from the eye. Yelling, he squeezed it, dribbling cum all over Sebastian’s chest and stomach until it glistened. He rubbed his cock then his hand across his chest until Sebastian’s skin gleamed with cum.
“Mmm, I love seeing you come. Now you can lick me clean.”
Jack loved it when Sebastian let him come all over him, he loved the after-play of cleaning him. He licked him, sucked on his nipples and nipped at his lover until Sebastian gave him his hand and got him to pull him to his feet.
The two men stood staring into each other’s eyes. Sebastian ran a finger softly down Jack’s cheek.
“I love you. You’re everything that’s good about my life.”
He rubbed his thumb across Jack’s bottom lip then pinched it between thumb and forefinger. He leaned in and kissed him. That kiss filled Jack with such love he wondered if his heart would burst. This man meant the world to him and he thanked the gods every day for sending him.
“Come on, my sweet sub, let’s have a quick shower then bed.”
Holding hands they went into the bathroom together, showered then enfolded in each other’s arms, fell asleep.

Surrendering to the Beast - Teaser 3Blurb:
When she’s good, she’s very good. But when he’s bad, she’s better.
Taming the Beast, As a good fairy, Heather is empathetic and chaste to a fault. No bad language, no dirty thoughts, flirting and no sex. But when a satyr named Daemon steps up to her reception desk at From Crud to Stud, she finds herself on the fast track to exquisite corruption.
Daemon is the total bad-boy package with a kiss straight from the dark side. Though he’s here for a supernatural makeover, Heather can’t imagine why any red-blooded woman would want him to change.
A disciple of the god of wine, Daemon has had his share of good times. But sex has never been this good. Heather brings out a new side of him, a side that makes him want to protect as well as pillage.
But Daemon needs a little creative backup to help set his fairy’s naughtiness free. And that means bringing in Mistress Jin. Under the genie’s tutelage and Daemon’s shameless lust, Heather is about to learn what it means to let loose.
Warning: Not your typical bedtime story. May lead to indecent behavior, a taste for voyeurism, discipline, bondage, m/f, m/f/f and f/f action, which will result in screaming orgasms. Proceed with caution.
Surrendering to the Beast - Teaser 1
Excerpt:
Heather steeled herself to do battle with Satan. Cautiously, she faced her webcam and his image on her computer monitor. This evening, he’d assumed the form of a European playboy, a snifter of cognac held casually in one hand, dark hair slicked back, his blood-red ascot contrasting nicely with his white shirt and navy blazer.
He certainly knew how to dress.
Cara mia.” Heat smoldered in his voice and dark eyes. “What can I do to you?”
“For me,” she corrected gently, wondering when he’d ever get that right.
Grinning, he focused on her white peasant blouse and jutted nipples, her areolas tightened from the chilly weather, not him. Tonight was damp and cool thanks to a spring storm that continued to rage in the French Quarter. Lightning flashed and the office lights flickered.
Flames flared briefly in his pupils. “We’ll do many things to each other, no?”
Heather smiled politely, a knee-jerk reaction for a good fairy. Needing to get tough, she held up his overdue bill, hoping he’d look at it rather than her chest. Her hand shook so badly the paper rattled.
“How you tremble,” he cooed. “How pale you are. Allow me to put some color in your lovely cheeks. Heat that will last an eternity.”
Her skin got even clammier. “Please, just pay your account.” She waved the paper and talked fast before losing her nerve. “Your grandson failed to show for his last two appointments. I’m sure he had a good reason. Unfortunately, he didn’t call to cancel.” She offered an apologetic smile and pressed on. “Because you’re the cardholder, we had to charge you for the time. I’m so sorry, but it is the rule.”
One she was honor-bound to enforce as an employee of From Crud to Stud, a makeover service for supernatural beings. Howls from weres, hisses from vampires and obscenities from demons poured from the treatment rooms. Those poor souls were going through proverbial hell to suppress their beasts. They longed to date mortal women without freaking them out, while also winning their hearts the normal way. With real charm, not magic, with integrity and love, not lies and manipulation.
But these makeovers took the staff’s valuable time and clients needed to pay for the effort. Even Satan should understand that.
He gave her an indulgent smile. “What charges?”
Gasping, she dropped the flaming paper in her trashcan before it burnt her fingers.
“Later,” he said and killed the call.
Hurriedly, Heather put out the small blaze, chiding herself for letting the account get to this point. She should have been firm with Satan’s grandson when he signed up for the service. Determined to make up for being too nice, she brought up her bank account to pay the charges herself. She was about to transfer the funds when the lights flickered twice, thunder boomed and the front door flew open, banging against the wall.
She flinched.
A blast of dank air and rain blew inside, followed by a guy who looked to be thirty or so. He wore a black cowboy hat, snug navy tee, low-slung jeans and cowboy boots.
Once he shoved the door shut, he slumped against it, breathing hard.
Heather stood so quickly her chair rolled into the wall.
He didn’t notice. He’d closed his eyes and raised his face to the ceiling, his prominent Adam’s apple bobbing with his hard swallow.
Surrendering to the Beast - Teaser 2Alarmed yet intrigued, she regarded the short, dark hairs on his throat and took the rest of him in. His rain-dampened hair was the color of dark chocolate, thick and wavy, flowing to his broad shoulders. They heaved with his next ragged breath. Tall, possibly six-three, he was lean yet muscular. His wet tee clung to his well-defined pecs and abs, those bruising biceps. Stubble covered his strong jaw, upper lip and cheeks. His bronze skin spoke of days in the sun.
Even from where she stood, Heather smelled his scent. Clean and masculine, a woodsy, fresh fragrance along with something else…the unmistakable odor of liquor.
Uh-oh. It wasn’t often that mortals, drunk or otherwise, happened upon this place. When they did, Heather had ironclad rules to follow. First, buzz Constance, a voodoo priestess who could remove memories by laying her hands on someone’s head. Following that, Heather was supposed to buzz Becca, a half-mortal witch who owned this place.
Heather leaned over her desk to press the intercom button.
The guy turned to her, blinked slowly and stared.
Her hand stalled.
His eyes were amazing, the color of Lipton tea, ringed by long, sooty lashes, his attention riveted as he drank her in. Given his slow, sexy smile, Heather suspected he was undressing her with his eyes.
She swallowed and was about to press the button when he groaned suddenly and mournfully, the sound of someone in serious pain.

Heather paused and decided not to call for anyone just yet. “Are you all right?”

I’ve had my books reach finals in the EPIC competition, one title was named Book of the Year at a review site, and others have won awards in RWA-sponsored contests. I’m actually featured in the 2012 Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market. Talk about feeling like a freaking star.
Before my writing career, I was the editor of an award–winning Midwestern newspaper and worked in Story Direction for a Hollywood production company.
Outside of being an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, I’ve flown a single-engine plane (scary stuff), rewired an old house using an electricity for dummies book, and have been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally whenever I’m eating anything Mexican or Italian.
